Stephenson Ardern-Sodje gained an English degree for Creative Writing from Brunel University and concentrated on this aspect of his career for some time, including Coronation Street where he won a place on the “ITV Coronation Street Original Voices” scheme which included a ten week paid internship in the story department. He then decided to move into acting after seeing an advert for an open audition for the West Musical Hamilton in 2016. He studied Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music and was cast in Hamilton one year later. Stephenson later moved on to be a member of The Globe Theatre in London.
