Benét Monteiro was born in Brazil, and graduated from the ETMB Musical Theater School of Brasilia., starting his musical theatre career as Seaweed in Hairspray in Rio de Janeiro, and Jack in Into The Woods in Sao Paulo.
Working on various cruise ships, he inspired audiences with a wide variety of shows and made his own music recordings with the artist, DJ and producer Smiie.
Other roles include Eddie in Sister Act, Simba in The Lion King, and as an alternating Lola and Swing in Kinky Boots in Hamburg. He can now be seen as Alexander Hamilton in the German production of Hamilton: An American Musical.
