Andrew Fried is the founder and President of Boardwalk Pictures, an award-winning production
company with a primary focus on creating premium, unscripted, factual content. Over the past
two decades, he has collaborated with some of the most influential tastemakers in sports,
music, and entertainment, and his shows have aired on more than 20 different broadcast,
cable, and digital networks.
Prior to founding Boardwalk Pictures in 2010, Andrew produced a variety of unscripted
television projects including Iconoclasts (Sundance Channel), Britney: for the record (MTV),
Black & White: A Portrait of Sean Combs (MTV) and the Emmy Award-nominated Storymakers
(AMC). Andrew’s work around the Broadway Theater includes two documentaries about Tony
Award winning Best Musicals – Great Performances: In the Heights (PBS) and RENT: The Final
