At the time of recording, Sabrina is a Swing on Hamilton’s Philip Tour. Since 2017, Sabrina has performed as a swing in almost every iteration of Hamilton in the United States: Broadway, the OG cast of the first national tour, the LA company, and the And Peggy tour.

Sabrina Imamura originally hails from Plymouth, Michigan. Imamura graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Dance and a minor in the History of Art. Imamura has participated in many performance opportunities. She was a featured dancer in The Stars of Ballet and Broadway at the Detroit Music Hall, where she worked with Joffrey’s Meg Paul and choreographer Ron de Jesus. She spent two summers with The Joffery Ballet under Judy Rice, John Magnus and Brian McSween. Upon request, Imamura, was asked to stay year round at Joffrey NY trainee program. In addition to studying at The Joffrey Ballet, she has also studied at The American Ballet Theatre under the instruction of Melissa Bowman and Brian Reeder. Imamura was also a company member in the Civic Dance Ensemble at the Detroit Opera House, where she worked with Samantha Shelton. At the University of Michigan, she performed in faculty members Sandra Torijano’s La Luna Nueva and Peter Sparling’s Forest Through the Trees. She has performed in University guest works as well, including a Merce Cunningham “Mini-Event”, and her most beloved role in Bill T. Jones’s D-Man in the Waters. Most recently, Imamura participated as a contestant on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance Season 10 Vegas Week.
