At the time of his recording, Jarrod Spector was playing King George III in Hamilton on Broadway.

Jarrod Spector was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has been performing since he was two years old and appearing on local variety show, The Al Alberts Showcase. From there, Jarrod was seen by the world week after week on Star Search. After passing on The Mickey Mouse Club, nine year old Jarrod landed the role of Gavroche in Les Miserables where he performed in Philly, Chicago, and eventually on Broadway.

From there, Jarrod still auditioned but focused more on growing up and having a “regular life.” After a somewhat complicated college experience at Princeton, Jarrod found his way to Stone Street Studios and the Atlantic Theater Company in New York City.

In 2007, he joined the 2nd San Francisco cast of Jersey Boys as Frankie Valli and continued the role in Chicago and on Broadway. Spector played Frankie Valli, a role he would play later in Chicago and on Broadway. Jarrod would go on to play a record-breaking 1500 performances as Frankie Valli.

Jarrod was nominated for both Tony and Outer Critics Circle Awards for his performance as Barry Mann in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. In 2018, he played Sonny Bono in the Cher Show on Broadway.

In 2020, he starred in the fully virtual musical A Killer Party, produced during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Off-Broadway: ‘Hamlet’ in Hamlet. Regional: ‘Iving Radovich’ in Roman Holiday and ‘Bert Berns’ in Piece of My Heart. He has toured the country with his critically-acclaimed solo concerts and duet performances with his wife Kelli Barrett, and has released two solo albums.
