Fergie L. Philippe is a New York City-based actor currently playing Sir Sagramore and understudying King Arthur in the Broadway production of Camelot at Lincoln Center Theater. He has just come off of a five-year stint playing Hercules Mulligan/James Madison in Hamilton, both on Broadway and on tour.
Fergie was raised in Miami Lakes, Florida where he attended New World School Of The Arts, in Downtown Miami. During his time here he received college-level training in acting with multiple foundations in Meisner Technique and Uta Hagen. He then studied in North Carolina at Elon University, receiving a BFA in Music Theatre.
Fergie has worked at numerous theaters around the country including The Muny, Merry Go Round Playhouse, Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre, Shake on the Lake, and Playmakers Repertory Company.
He also takes an interest in Directing, Writing, Puppetry, and Music – playing the drums and guitar (playing is a strong word but we can call it that).
